And you figure the baby will know this? Still involves giving birth to a horse, though. |

Lots and lots of coyotes here. ----------- I thought I was going to have to take her into the hospital last night. I left here at 1230 but didnt get to sleep until around 230. The cool thing is that my wife is a registered nurse and she is having the baby at the same hospital she works for. Wife wife knows everyone and everything about the OB section there. ----------- I work 45 minutes away so I hope it happens when I am home. |

no worries there if she is anything like anyone in my family that baby will take at least 10hrs to pop out. You'll have plenty of time to get there.

HT, did you ever show "your" list to your wife? Let me give you a piece of advice if you haven't done so. Look at her list of names, nod you head, and say "These are the same names that I came up with!" But if you want an interesting life - Wait until she's resting after the birth. Go to whoever records these things and have them enter the name Happy Terdette. If, however, you don't want my very good advice, let me wish you all the best of luck. |

I popped my son out about 15 minutes after arriving at the hospital, by the time my husband got there I had already filled out the birth certificate. I could have named him anything I wanted. Fortunately we had settled on names before I was 12 weeks along. I kept getting mad at the hospital workers because they wouldn't call him by name. He had heard us saying it often enough I knew he knew it. They finally admitted I was probably right. (probably just to shut me up). How about the name I always swore I would go by if I had a book pubished? Sophrina Elizabeth Two family names on my mom's side. |

Here's what you do, happy_terd: Let your wife name the baby whatever she wants. No matter how stupid her choice is, just smile and agree. You call the baby whatever you want. Constantly. Change the name you use whenever the mood strikes you. I did it with all my nieces and nephews: Noodles and Alfred (Hitchcock): nieces Albino Boy, Mildew, Creeplet and Joey Nipples: nephews |
