We're going camping in the South of England in what is laughably called our "summer" so please wish me luck

I am so far behind that I just gave up trying to catch up.. So, here's what I've figured out...

Libby, Dennis, and Shell's husband are speaking another language.. Linux or something.

Kenny is majorly artistic and recluse just had a tune-up and reajustment.

Win 7 is exciting and LCF is the new kid with it.

Kitties are great to cuddle and when they are on pj's.

Be careful if you let Catire work on your laptop, but cooking is totally different.... ME! I want some.

It's ok. My favorite customers brought me smoked brisket tonight! Let me explain...
A couple of years ago, one of my favorite customers and his daughter were in my line. They were buying brisket, and (me being a native Texan and a brisket lover) of course I commented on it. He said his wife was from Texas too, and so he knew how to make it right and he'd bring me some to test. I'd heard similar before, so I kind of blew it off, thinking they would forget. Lo and behold, though, a few days later, in they walk with a freezer container of brisket! It not only passed my test, I raved about it, so now every time he makes brisket, they bring me some. I made macaroni and cheese and opened a can of baked beans to go with it...and had a plateful of Texas heaven in front of me. There's enough left for a sandwich tomorrow, too

Recluse, I'm glad everything went OK! Do I want to know 50 000 miles of *what*, or should we leave it as it is?

Screws - Sony might have a lot, but not as many as a cheap microwave oven. I had to literary unscrew 18 screws to *change the bulb*!!! Then I understood why the manual said: "If lamp goes down - go see a professional"

Win 7 - I just downloaded 15 versions of the launch manager. I'm really hopeful, that at least *one* will work with the volume controls (most of the releases get everything else working, except these. One detected the volume buttons on the external keyboard - I'm hoping that installing it again with no keyboard or mouse to mess things up it will detect the right buttons. How was the saying... Hope dies last?)

In Acer (an probably other) laptops it's the program that recognises and activates the additional keys, such as volume controls, direct browser key, mail key, and so on. Problem is, win 7 is not oficially supported for my model (Aspire 5650) so I have to find a version that is old enugh to recognise my keys right and new enough to work under Win 7. Starting experiment now..
