That's interesting, I have never seen any take off at all before. I never knew it could be done from beach level. I guess near the beach has soft sand and soft water which would be good while learning.

I've seen paragliding in the south of France. They start from a top of a mountain and goes from there. The only thing is they must first climb the mountain with a heavy and large backpack containing the paraglider on their back. You would need to be very fit, but what a good exercise.

Just changed the oil in the Vue. Still waffling on whether to buy a new fridge and which one....also noticed what may be the beginning of a sewer backup....off to the vent and rant thread!

Still hoping to get back to painting....at least I got my morning walk in and took some photos, but have not had a chance to even look at them...

Uh, no, but you really don't know what you've got til you examine/review them on the computer. Even the display on my top of the line Canon 1Ds Mk III sucks compared to viewing them on the computer.

Even when reviewing on a screen it helps to color calibrate. This is Spyder Pro 3. For the thinkpad it's almost an necessity because the color calibration when shipped are utter rubbish.
