This is the IFA Berlin from 3-8 Sept? Just wanted to confirm as fjtorres was indicating we'll have a 3 month wait before the devices are released.

That's the one. But hey, we got to be honest here. We will begin selling the devices in mid-september, but it will be probably be October before we will have larger quantities available.

The 3 month wait I was referring to is from when they're submitted to FCC testing for sale in the US. They could have been submitted already, so the clock could be ticking even as we speak. And, of course certification elsewhere is different.

But realistically, if they are queued up behind the 901---which isn't due until sept despite being officially launced over a month ago---the earliest we could see new readers in quantity would be late Oct. (Just a WAG, of course)

I'm curious to see what is headed our way; hopefully a PB360 with a pearl screen will be in there somewhere.

Thanks guys, October there abouts is a bit longer than I would've like but I really want to make an informed decision about which ereader to buy this year. So I just the wait continues....

I'm happy with mine.
But if a new one came with a pearl screen and quieter, softer bottons in the exact same form factor I'd be sweating bullets. And, odds are, my sister would end up with a slightly used 360 of her own.

This will be announced in September at the exhibition.

Example might be the reasons for following items:

1. Looking for large volumes of production, netronix not have time to produce the right amount.
2. Another company netronix as part of a group.
3. New products are planned for the premium segment, and requires a manufacturer with experience of production in the premium segment.

It seems to me that Pocketbook Global (Netronix Inc. + Pocketbook) has signed some sort of agreement with iRex Technologies (now called IRX Innovations after it went bankrupt).

Now this is just speculation on my part, but it would be a dream come true to see a device with Irex hardware and Pocketbook software....

I have one question.
Who is in charge of writing the software specification guidelines?
You know, the document that describes all software features, such as user accessible configuration files, easy installation of third-party apps ...

Please, please tell us it is the same Guys in Kiev (TM) that wrote specification for PocketBook 360°.
