I spent the last couple of days reading and want to share my "Oh, yeah!" moment with you guys...know you've been waiting!

I couldn't figure out why Jack's contributions were so awful. It's this: given the nature of 1st generation eInk, in night mode the background is not a dark, dark black (an example my PPro is black and it is quite a bit darker that the book page), but more importantly (for me) the text is a light, light yelow, could almost be described as a dirty white. Don't expect to change your views, but just wanted to expand on my preference quirk.

Derek, the DX and the DXG are too big. I am now in the queue for a Kindle3. While waiting for it I'll try to figure out what to knock off my daily visit list so I have time to read all the Kindle posts! Don't know how you Kindle lovers keep up w/it.

Hunh! I'd agree that the DX is a honking monster, but while it's about the same size, the DXG is significantly lighter. Still, the K3 may well be the *one* for you as it is a featherweight amongst 6" ereaders. Plus its font size range is QUITE good!

The DXG weighs the same as the DX. Same size and everything.

I love my DXG and can read it one handed on the metro with ease. It really is not that much heavier then the K1.

I imagine that most folks will prefer the 6" version because it is more portable but I love the larger screen.
