Just replaced the original hard drive in my TiVo HD with a new 1TB one. The TiVo has been wonky for a month now and I hope this fixes it. I'll also get an extra 340Gb of space too.

It's booting.... I hope it works.

Fingers crossed for you. I've considered doing that myself. I have the original DirecTV Tivo with a lifetime subscription Which paid for itself some 5 years back. I've avoided upgrading cause I'll have to start paying a Tivo (or other DVR) monthly fee.

Progress report: 70 authors out of 214 added to calibre. (If a sharp eyed reader notices, yes I acquired books since I started, since I only had 210 author folders then). Remember, this is just my Cozies folder...haven't even looked at anything else yet.

TiVo rebooted and seems to be working fine. Granted I had to loose all my recordings due to having a DVR extender on it originally. It is possible to maintain/copy all your recordings if you have a single drive system. At least all my settings and seasons passes are still intact.

WinMFS made it very easy to do. The hardest part was waiting for the USB to SATA adapter I forgot to order when I ordered the drive.
