I'm changing mine from buttons to touchscreen. Once you realise its just a nice quick flick and not a drag its so much easier to turn. Vastly better then the buttons, people just need to spend 10 minutes trying to turn with the touchscreen and you'll find it works everytime

I am sorry - I voted for Touch before noticing this was a Nook survey. Page turns on the Sony are so reliable and natural using a swipe, I never use the button...

I mainly use the buttons but I also do a huge chunk of my reading in bed lying on my side with the hand holding the Nook resting on a pillow so it's at the perfect angle. It's just easier to use the button at that point. Though the comments about using the touchscreen to change the page certainly explain why periodically the page would change even though I hadn't touched the button. I may actually try and deliberately use the touchscreen to change the page when I'm not reading in bed. See how it works compared to the buttons.

I mostly use the buttons because the touchscreen n-swipe-gesture is not unreliable. I guess my percentage is around 75% button click and 25% touchscreen.

Touch screen only, using the thumb swipe method (starting off the upper right corner and swiping towar the lower left). Works every time, and much more reponsive than the index finger, at least for me.

I tried the swipe- it worked just fine once I got used to it, but I do most of my reading in bed, laying on my back or side. With the weight of the device, I would have to shuffle my hands to use the touch screen, so I mostly use the buttons, since my hands naturally sit near the buttons anyway, it isn't that big of a deal!

I hold the nook with one hand, thumb on button, the rest behind as support. I can't fathom how I would do the same if I had to swipe. Using my other hand to swipe would seem like more effort than just pressing the bottom, where my thumb already rests. IE it seems less efficient, and I do love my efficiency.
Not to mention the better drain. |

I use the swipe mainly after reading the cracked bezel issue. It is relatively easy once you get used to. I timed the battery drain using the swipe vs. the button and it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Didn't hear about the cracked bezel yet, but even more so I will use the swipe then. It works great for me, now that I figured out how to do it properly!
