The Morgaine books would be good.
Also all of Alexander Key's books (I think Amazon does have the Witch mountain books and "The Vanishing Boy").

I think Baen has "The Paladin"; not sure about any of the others. I ought to buy that ... no clue whatever happened to my paper copy.

I've been trying in vain to find ebooks for the first trilogies of Glen Cook's The Black Company and Stephen R. Donaldson's The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. No one seems to have it. At least no one I've checked with, though if anyone here has any idea on where I can get it, please do point me in the right direction.
The Black Company is unfortunately in the clutches of MacMillan, so we may all die of old age before we see copies for sale of those. Scans of course have been around for years.

Another example of odd decision making. Both Black Company and Covenant have a fan base already and so are already set to be targeted to. Even odder that these are both large book series that make perfect selling links. (Hey, I wonder what happened after this book. Okay, just one more...)

I like these efforts, but they're slow. The authors at Closed Circle acknowledge that this is a secondary task for them-- they are, after all, primarily writers. I'd prefer to see them go with something like Wizard's Tower if it turns out to be viable, rather than messing around with web code and ePub formatting.

Only Escape to Witch Mountain, as far as I can see. Which is a shame, because I've always enjoyed his books (well, except for the movie sequel tie-in) and I'd like to complete my collection. There are a couple of his books that have been out of print for years or decades, and I'm not quite prepared to pay the going rate for rare used books.

I bought both Paladin and the sequel from Baen books in ebook format. I actually have Paladin in dead tree format as well.

Glen Cook has some of his books available in ebook format via Baen Books. They are published by a small publishing firm which has a deal with Baen for the ebook format. I've gotten all of his stuff that is available that way. I would love to get the black company books also. The most recent Black company is available in ebooks format. One would think that he might make some of the omnibus volumes available.

Alexander Key was the first SF author who I read. He died over 30 years ago.

That's a shame. I agree, it's a weird decision by the publishers. I don't really know the ins and outs of creating an ebook of out-of-print books, but can it really be that hard and that expensive that MacMillan (and whoever has the rights to Thomas Covenant) can't be bothered making ebook versions of such popular and successful series?

Donaldson's series, in fact, is still ongoing. The Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant has two books out and they are available as ebooks. Don't the publishers think that people might want to buy the earlier stories as well? Even people who have prints of them might consider getting ebooks so that they can have the whole collection. And then there are newcomers like myself. No way am I buying the new books without having read the earlier series.

Nothing MacMillan does makes sense to rational people. ;-)

That being said, there is a NEW Black Company story in the Jonathan Strahan and Lou Anders anthology Swords and Dark Magic. Not to mention a new Elric story that is most excellent.

Haven't finished it all, but a great book so far.

As mentioned before, do definitely recommend getting the Night Shade webscriptions with Cook's books, too - Dread Empire etc.

Yeah, I actually bought Swords & Dark Magic a few days ago, but haven't started on it, yet.
