The old office chair is about to crap out on me. Two of the plastic legs have broken at different times, and as each one did, I glued it back and braced it with angle iron, but now one of the arms is coming off. It's an upholstered chair, and fixing that would be more than I care to go into, so I ordered this one as a replacement from Amazon. It's got a metal base, and looks pretty sturdy, so I hope it will be a good replacement. It doesn't cost that much, although it's more than I wanted to pay (I'm not cheap, just broke!), but I figured as much time as I spend it the chair, it's worth it to get one that would be comfortable and hold up. Geeze, I hope it does both!
