I haven't been made to feel this welcome since I walked into the new car showroom with my checkbook in my hand.

I came here kinda' by accident - but it was a good accident.

I have been hit with an "I WANT" bug. A friend is trying to talk me into buying an iPad. Seems to me that $800-900 is kinda crazy for a toy like that. What I was hoping to find is a good 'clone' that does more for less.

I like to read and I was hoping to find an Android clone.

Any suggestions before I get crazy and put more money in Steve's pocket?

since I am a junior member I thought a picture of me 2 weeks 'outa-my-mom' would be appropriate. We were that poor (it was 70+yrs ago).
