Question on Pre-Orders

I'm thinking about pre-ordering the Urban Fantasy collection "Days and Stormy Knights" which is being released tomorrow 7/20. Do pre-orders typically get released right after midnight on release day? The only book I've pre-ordered is "Under the Dome," and I can't remember when that one downloaded.

I dont know the exact time but I always left wispernet on and it was there when I woke up

Or you can just order it in the morning. Not like they are going to run out

In my experience, it's rarely been right at midnight on release day, more like 8 or 12 AM, but maybe I've just been unlucky

. (And I'm talking US East coast timezone)

Thanks, I'm in the Eastern Timezone too. I mainly started wondering because an iPad owning friend just ordered it, and wondered if I (being that I've owned a Kindle for 2 years) knew how it worked. Had to admit I couldn't really remember.

I'll guess I'll just go ahead an order and see when it pops up.

I think they're released at midnight PST (3 am EST), but I could be wrong.

I usually give up around 2 AM EST so, that may very well be the case

I only stayed up once to check, but it did indeed get released at midnight for me.
