I'm sure some hackers will try to do that
There might be issues with software and the physical milimeters differences?

Sorry, that pic is totally fuzzy (out of focus). Did you get your hands on a new one somehow?

The blurry picture didn't concern me, but the caption did!

Even slower than the PRS-500!

If the photo tag data is correct, westsan has had it since at least July 6th. Is the NDA up? I wonder if any press/review embargos have been lifted as well. I'll have to go poking around all the tech sites today.

Just dont expect good performance from the MAC USB interface.

Also it looks like Sony is doing a technology tie-up with Adobe's PDF format and some Adobe app.
The adobe app will be able to interface with the device instead of using the dog eLibrary software.

BTW - I wonder if the device will be able to reflow the text in PDF documents!?

If Sony or the Adobe app supports the full PDF spec, then it should support reflowable PDF files. However, most PDF files are not built to be reflowable, so even if the app supports reflow, the ebook file itself may not.

If the unnamed Adobe app is Digital Editions, then it presumably will support epub format as well as PDF. So far, though, I'm not too amazed by Digital Editions since its interface and performance still very much feel like version 1.0 software.

I like digital editions.
Its better than CONNECTReader's eLibrary deal.

I have been using it instead for 2 months now to transfer files to my PRS

Since when Digital Editions supports the Reader? o.O
You're sure you're not confusing it with libprs500 or something?
