I was wondering if someone would kindly take the time and create a custom recipe for the content on alternet.org It has a lot of rss feeds that would be wonderful if it is collected into a nice recipe that can be downloaded as a book to say the kindle or whatever.

I appreciate it. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong though, because when I try to load it, I get the following error message:

ERROR: Invalid input: <p>Could not create recipe. Error:<br>'NoneType' object has no attribute 'title'

Am I doing something wrong? I'm loading it thru Fetch news/add a custom news source/load recipe from file.

I think the zip file was corrupted. Sorry about that. I have uploaded it and you can try downloading it again.

I'm commenting out feeds I think might be of less interest, but including all that seem reasonable. I'll see if I can't get a United Daily News recipe soon (about 8 hojillion RSS feeds on that site).

Has anyone created a recipe for the Orlando Sentinel? I suppose in the the best of all possible worlds, I'd love the front page (http://www.orlandosentinel.com/) as well as the Seminole County page (http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/seminole/).

I suppose that, as important as the recipes could be, a step by step description of how you created the recipe would be great so that I could create additional recipes in the future.

Hi, I am new here, and I should first thank you guys for coming up with such a great software solution that adds so much value to our e-readers. Calibre is awesome.

I already have most of the web recipes I need built-in in the software, but I want to learn writing my own, too.

Can somebody help me with writing a recipe for MIT Technology Review?

I started following the BBC News example at Calibre user manual and came up with the following:

However, when I tried implementing printer friendly version, I got stuck. This is because of TR's implementation. Here are example links for the RSS, standard, and printer friendly versions of the same article:
