Not that I'd want guns in the workplace, but a BB gun would be fun. I'd take out wasps with it, when I wasn't firing on the conex box door they're lodged in just to aggravate them!

Someone said a paint gun would be even better!

Ideally, of course, a fully automatic Uzi would really be the way to deal with those insects!
we used to keep privately owned guns in the barracks, then we had an inspection and were told to keep them in the arms room. when I was moving in CA, I took my rifles to the DCO and left them there over the weekend. *shrug*

watching mainframe jobs run. The scheduler has been messed up since a major install three weeks ago. They're running smooth but slow now, but management demanded 24x6 (no processing on Sunday). job watch, so here I am.

1:14 Am local, staring at a screen with nothing worth doing. Lucky I can do it from home. (Still $42 an hour is $42 an hour!)

Just sitting in the dark.
In the loving embrace of my old friend Insomnia.
It's not so bad.
All my nightmares are in reruns.
Having those lovely, slightly off center criminal thoughts that make my mind such fun to hang around with.
Writing down the really good ones, just in case.
Listening to the rain, which is a nice.
Wondering why I'm posting this.
Can't be any worse than talking to the dog, I suppose.
But he's asleep, the ungrateful little bastard.
Making me regret giving him raw broccoli earlier.
Live and learn.

Recluse, you're poetic at this time of night!

At least we're not all asleep.

Insomnia because of nightmares, or are they just an added bonus of falling asleep?

Farting dog?

Hi, Nomesque!

Insomnia is the status quo.
I may actually be nocturnal.

The nightmares are a bonus, yes.
The body sleeps.
The mind just keeps running.

Yes, my little brother is gassy tonight.
And snoring at the same time.

Well, now we know where the green in your avatar comes from - feeding broccoli to your flatmate!

Nocturnal is entirely possible - but only if daylight makes you sleepy, I guess

Gotta go - gonna leave work, buy some hair dye, bleach the crap outta my hair and then dye it a weird colour. Maybe stripey.

I'm very partial to purple.

Whatever you do, I'm sure it will be fabulous.

Have fun, sweetie!

I expect a full report on the results.

Lo and behold, I bought purple dye! Although it's a bit light, I might shade some light blue through it to give it a bit more pop.
