Huh - looks like someone's buying Maisy May from the Sony store. It seems to be wandering slowly up the bestseller rankings in its Gay and Lesbian Fiction category (nothing to get too excited about, 512 -> 488 -> 467). Not that I'm complaining in the least, it's just that I've done not a bit of marketing aimed at the Sony store. Hrmmm. Guess I'll find out if it's caused by sales or sample downloads in four or five months' time...

By the way, does anyone else just LOVE the 'Want this ebook?' buttons on the Sony store, which - if you click on them - tell you that you can't have it (without the right software)? Always reminds me of an elder sibling who used to do that sort of stuff to me. "Want this lolly?" "YES please!" "Well ya CAAAAN'T have it!". <--- especially appropriate since a) I can't install the reader software on this computer and b) I'm in Australia anyhow.

I've never been in the Sony Store, but have come across a few "Currently Not Available" ebooks at Amazon.
Which sucks because I want them.

Congrats on "Maisy May" moving up the list.
One question: does the fact that it is in Gay and Lesbian Fiction limit it's exposure?

*shrug* God knows. I'd've preferred 'Young Adult'. But maybe the LGBT folks buy more ebooks.

If you do go after your coworkers with a pen, I recommend the Cross brand. Solid construction, and they go through a skull a treat. Aim for the temple.
