I've just posted a few books by science fiction books by Cory Doctorow and a couple fantasy books by Jason Stoddard. I'm on the look for more recent works released under the creative commons license to convert and post here.

I've just put together another collection of SF short stories recently released by PG. It's convenient (IMHO at least) to have them collected into anthologies, rather than deal with them individually.

Any chance of an lrf version of 'The Little Prince'? I can find it in 160 languages in HTML so I think it's public domain. I dont want to get anyone in trouble if its not. One of the few great classics that I could read over and over as a child.

It should be out of copyright in countries that have a life + 50 rule such as Canada and Australia. I'll find a copy and give it a go. No idea when I can actually release it just yet. But I think eventually.

I am working on short story collections by Anton Chekhov and O. Henry. These will be multi-book efforts for both authors.

I shall do some more Balzac in the next few days. In the meantime, I expect to do the last two of Oscar Wilde's plays, so that we have a complete set. I'm also attempting to get rid of some of the more battered classics on my bookshelves and replace them with lrf versions, thus freeing up some shelf-space. |

Having finished Anton Chekhov and O. Henry short story collections, I will be doing a number of Andrew Lang books, in particular his eleven books of fairy stories (Red, Yellow, Blue, etc.)

I shall be doing the rest of Anna Katharine Green's detective stories over the next few weeks. I have to confess that she is an author that I was completely unaware of until recently, but was immensely popular in her lifetime. Her books are noted for their accurate depiction of the American legal process - she was the daughter of a criminal lawyer.

				What I'm working on...

I know there is a thread for this already, but I can't find it. If a moderator found the other thread and merged this in, that would be good. I have finished the Twain works I wanted to do. The last will be going up today in IMP format. There is a small problem with some of them. They have somehow picked up special characters. Since the original file is ASCII text from PG, I don't know how this happened. I decided to ignore the special characters; if someone find a typo please let me know.. I am currently working on the State of the Union addresses. I plan to post about 13 each weekend in all 3 formats. Admittedly I posted the first few as a joke. But then I understood the value they represent. Each State of the Union address is a free history book. They are useful for a US History class, as a contrast between the way we see an event, and the way they see the event as it happened. Fascinating. Last edited by JSWolf; 10-13-2007 at 11:43 AM.
