Thanks for your kind thoughts (and offers of solar cooking!) but I am stuck here for now - job & family obligations. Besides, Canada isn't looking much better these days.

I am careful.

But something really down about the next 7 days having the same forecast : high of 97 F - 100, lows of 73 F -- that ain't low!

No idea about temps, but it's raining and there's lightning and thunder and this morning I also saw some hail stones. They put out a weather warning, code orange, for today... Heavy rain and heavy winds. Our national rain radar site is completely overwhelmed (but they know how to handle that, by going into overdrive mode, which means stripping everything from the site, and only showing the radar images

). Luckily, I can use the German variety as well and there's a lot more coming our way!

Most of France appears to be under orange warning too, because of the thunderstorms. Not too bad here though, there was a thunderstorm this morning but I think it wasn't right above me. It did rain, and now the weather is still overcast and cool (but still clammy, yuck).

I note that it it RED in Spain.....probably due more to the World Cup Win than the Weather.
