Just put in a job application at the local hospital. It's for an Emergency Room Receptionist and the hours are perfect: 3 - 11 p.m. My current job isn't as unbearable as it was during the reign of the Blonde *itch; (and I ended up getting her job after she left *evil grin*), but there are several shakeups in the works there, and I have been wanting out of retail forever anyway. Wish me luck?

Just came across something that made me laugh, in my 'must write a story around that someday' file of random scenes written in the middle of the night:

He fell to his knees, still gasping, looking for all the world like a small whale beached in a bakery.

“Dying for a donut?” I quipped, and sauntered out of the bakery.

I never did go back to check, but I have a sneaking suspicion I got fired.

Personally, I think it's a bloody waste of time.
I also think tennis shouldn't be televised, Venus Williams is a man, and basketball players should only be paid $3.00 a game, because it ain't a sport.

and I have to get up at 5am tommorrow. I know I am rambling like a drunk, but I need my 11 hours sleep a night
