would you consider buying e-Reader for Palm?
I contacted Rick Meyers and asked him if they were planning on making it available for Palm devices. He wrote back explaining that "The Palm OS port of e-Sword is not currently planned." If there were enough of a demand, they might port it over. Links: e-Sword Pocket e-Sword ~Tim ![]() |

If he ported it to PalmOS, I'd start using it, and I'd buy it if he was selling it (it's free for PC or PPC).
But with the uncertainty of where PalmOS is going and which fork will sustain future user bases, it might not be worth his effort unless the port is simple (in which case he probably would have already ported it.) Plus, didn't he say that he originally wrote it for his own use? If he doesn't use PalmOS it might not be a practical use of his time. So, anyway, I wouldn't expect anything, but it sure would be great if he did it. |
