Koreader error after updating

After updating to 2026.03 koreader's file got corrupted or smth almost anything i do is making it crash. Crash log attached

If someone else encounter same problem then I suggest before the developer solve the problem you better manually update it(downgrade) check github of koreader for more instructions

this sounds like a you problem, why don't you re install a clean koreader 2026.03?

I suggest you update your KOReader to the latest nightly build and if it still doesn't work, as @Ebookus said, do a clean install of the latest stable version. That means deleting your settings and basically starting over. But you can make a backup of your Kindle before you start over with a clean KOReader.

However, the problem could be that you have the wrong version of KOReader. Which Kindle version of KOReader did you install? Was it the correct version for your Kindle? Which Paperwhite do you have?

I used update option from koreader settings-
Well in guess got it, it got my version wrong *facepalm*

Well nope I manually updated it and still same error(i have pw3 and i used the pw2 package of koreader and went to kual to do it) and same problem with auto updater of koreader...

Are you using the hardfloat version of KOReader? If not, that could be your problem.

My main suspect would be a user patch. We love the power they give to users and developers, but the chatbots are now able to spit out KOReader patches that are functional but vastly overcomplicated.
