Is it broken ? Frozen screen.
Hello
I can buy for 30$ broken kindle with such a screen: [Image exceeds guidelines for size - MODERATOR] Could you tell me if that screen is broken ? Or sth else ? Owner claims that he does not now what happend and also kindle is not recognized by PC but the lid is orange (so probably it's charging). Does anybody of you knows if it's a screen problem or easy to fix micro usb port, dead battery etc. Or maybe it just need restart or debricking which is described somewhere at this forum. A classic picture of a broken screen substrate. You've fractured the thin layer of glass that's underneath the outer plastic screen. You can see the curved line of the fracture running up and left from the lower right corner.
