Cleaning unused files in Paperwhite
Hello,
Does anybody know if there is a good way to clean or manage the files inside my kindle's 'documents' folder? There's a lot of files in there from old books that interfere with my use of koreader. Predominately empty folders. Thanks! |

Connect the Kindle to the computer, and remove everything from the Documents folder. Just delete it. Don't bother deleting the Dictionaries folder: the Kindle will just recreate it.
Of course, don't delete books (and accompanying folders) that you want to keep; or if you do, just re-upload those books. If you delete everything, you can download the dictionaries from the cloud. |

You could also try the script in this thread: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=211384. It removes all the .sdr folders of books that have been deleted. It does not remove other empty folders in \documents (like the author name folders that Calibre creates by default when sideloading books).
