Mozilla Firefox (Fennec) -beta version for Android released..but needs 2.0
Here is the link. There is a direct download, not through the market. I have not tried it yet since it needs 2.0 and up.

Bad idea anyways. What I've heard is that its quite laggy on a Nexus One, never mind the slow-as-molasses rate that it would be guaranteed to run at on the eDGe.
