This is the RC so it will be released soon. Before I jumped in, I did make sure things were smooth.

I did go through and zipped any app that might interfered and rebooted (rebooted the Scribe too).

Calibre will prevent another MTP client (such as OpenMTP) from seeing Scribe, and cannot copy the updater over to it. Shut it down. OpenMTP should work. Uninstall AFT.

Also make sure you are copying over the correct updater for the version of your Scribe that you have. It will be ignored otherwise. And before connecting, Restart the Scribe (this can fix some MTP connection issues).

This is a relatively new Macbook and it's a tiny bit flakey. (It crashed dismounting an iphone.) I think I'll have to bring it behind the tool shed...I mean call up apple.
