If a book has DRM, I get it from Barnes and Noble or Amazon. If it doesn't, I'll get it from wherever it's cheapest. I don't have an ADE account, and have no interest in getting one. Why on earth would I want to use a system that requires me to connect my reader to a computer?

I just finished complaining to Kobo about this lack, specifically in regards to EPUB3 books that don't have download buttons. Until they resolve that issue, I'll be buying the affected books at Sony, which has no such limitation, doesn't use bizarre DRM (like Nook) or nonstandard formats (like Kindle), and often has lower prices on Big Five books anyway. True, they don't have coupons, but Kobo doesn't allow promo codes on Big Five books, so that's a wash.

I'm lucky the genre I buy is sold at Allromance and lots of independent publishers, and is always DRM free. I can get it at Amazon and Kobo too, along with Smashwords but it's mainly Allromance and the I dependants I use.
