There have been a lot of coffee threads lately. Someone needs to arrange a meetup at a coffee shop. Its been a long time since we all got together.

While I don't agree with the attitude, I guess I sort of understand the faith in their divinely appointed 'specialness' in a young stock trader or lawyer eaning a half million+ dollars a year, I DON'T understand the same atitude in the staff in those places. I knew Starbucks was big, but didn't realize just how big. They have almost 17,000 stores in 50 countries, nearly $11 billion in revenue, almost $1 billion in income, and about 137,000 employees.

Someone obviously likes the stuff.
