My contribution made it $316 on ChipIn :-)
I'm not looking to replace my PRS500 but this will be a well-deserved unit for Igor.

I vote for a unit for Kovid too.

OK, guys, сollecting is over. I'll receive PRS-505 probably tomorrow and will send it to Igor.

I've just created a Chipin page for Kovidgoyal to get a PRS505. Please donate if you'd like libprs500 to work with the 505 like it does with the 500.

If we don't get the required amount, I'm going to offer what we do have to Kovidgoyal if he wants in order to purchase the 505 at a discount. If not, I'll just give the money we collect to MobileRead.

Alternate suggestion: Let him decide if he wants to get a Cybook or Kindle instead of the 505. Whatever he wants.

The donations are for a 505 so libprs500 can be ported over. It's not for some other reader.

I don't know what your looking for but check out this thread on PRS+ and the PRS+ project site. there is also a current thread for setting up a PRS505 FSK Test-Environment for Autorun Applications under MS-Windows.
