Quick question. If we're sending illustrations your way do you want them to be colour or greyscale?

Two weeks ago, I would have said grayscale. But with the iPad out now....

I don't think it really matters, as colors get turned to grays on eInk.
But gray stays gray on iPad

Only six in the anthology. Six is better than the two I had last month

Give me a bit to put things together. Still waiting on whatever illustrations were being sent.

Actually - - it may be more than six, I'll have to go back through the thread and pick up the poems etc

Sorry about that. I was going to write something but the month kind of fell apart for various reasons. I'll try to have an illustration to you by the end of the weekend though.

Hopefully I'll have it compiled before the end of the month.

For those curious, there are ten works in this edition. Total word count is under 15k. A bit underwhelming considering all the positive responses and members who said they'd participate.

I'll still take work from anyone else who wants to play up until it goes up in library.

Oh..and does anyone know how to make a table of contents?

I compile through Scrivener, then export to Microsoft Word XP for a LIT conversion.

The LIT is then ground up into other formats thru Calibre.

Export from Word XP to HTML then run it through SIGIL. Apply any of the H1 - 6 headings to the titles of the stories or anything you want to show up in the TOC, re-save out. This will creating a working ePub with TOC. You can then convert this ePub with Calibre (it should retain the working TOC).

Alternative; put it up on Feedbooks and just link to it here

I haven't forgotten.

This is just taking a bit longer than I had expected. A couple items required some extra editing.....and mixing that in with real work and play work. And gearing up for JuNo - I'm spread thin.

But, some good news for Am. your story now has a title. I chose "The Tell-Tale Teeth."

I hope that works for you =)
