PRS-600 Screen frozen, reader will not charge, explorer shows files

Hi! This is my first post…I have been reading on a lot on this forum the past days but cannot find exactly the same problem i have. I got a PRS 600 in december and used it a lot, charging via USB. No problems so far.

Hadn’t used the reader for a week or so, and now the screen is frozen and i can’t get it ‘unlocked’. Connecting to the PC via USB does not help, I do can see and manage my files via Reader Library but no charging. No red indicator burning.

Understood the point with a PSP charger, so i bought one and had it charged for several hours, the red indicator lighted. But, when disconnecting, nothing happened. Second time no indicator light.

I have tried a soft and hard reset (often!), does not help either…..

Can anyone advice me what to do? I got the reader as a gift from the netherlands. The reader is not supported (sold) in the country i live (Norway), not that easy to get it repaired here…
