If you're paranoid you could glue a plastic panel on the page right over the screen. Neat idea but I like minimized mass and size of my reader with OEM or M-Edge cover. Bravo for artistry though!

I wouldn't be worried about pressure point with that book. It looks like the cover is wood. Not the lightest but would definitely protect the screen.
