The most exciting piece in the CNET article was that maybe we should wait a few more weeks after these two are released! CNET: Sony says there will be no wireless option for these models; they are "tethered devices." But in speaking with reps, they did say that Sony was committed to bringing out a wireless device and while they didn't mention an exact time frame, it appeared to be soon, perhaps within weeks. So, if you're waiting for a wireless Reader, whatever form it takes (built-in Wi-Fi or cellular), you should probably hold out a bit longer. |

P.S. it would be nice to have extended fonts in new models but if it was so I think Sony definitely would have mentioned it...

				two differently times releases?

Why not release all three new readers at once and let the customer choose what they want? Is Sony doing the 300 and 600 in August and the 900 in October the equivalent of a "1-2 punch?" Is Sony doing it this way to keep the company's name in the news longer? How is this news affecting the Kindle's business? Either way, I am excited to hear that Sony is not leaving the ebook business and in fact seems to be positioning themselves quite well. |

I love my silver Sony PRS-505 but I might be tempted to buy the Sony PRS-600. And this time I'm going for the red color. | |
