I installed update 4.38.23828 and now dictionaries don't work anymore. when i select one or two dictionaries it starts downloading but every time i end with all (!) dictionaries installed in the dictionary-list but when i select a word the dictionary-screen that opens tells me: No dictionary installed.

I only have Nickelmenu installed.
I tried to solve the dictionary problem bij updating to a previous version (4.38.23429) but that did nor solve the problem.
Finally I deleted all files from the folder .kobo\.dict an copied the dictionaries from another Kobo glo with an older firmware to my device and now my dictionaries work again.

The what's new you read in this thread is incorrect. That's the what's new for the 6.x firmware. If you read on after the what's new list, you'd have read that it's not what's new for this firmware. The Bluetooth fix is not in this firmware release.

If I recall correctly, on the Libra 2, this is a hardware limitation. (If only we could get a Libra BW...)

No, it's a bug, because you can turn WiFi off & leave BT on. Even if the HW is such that turning BT on turns on WiFi too, the FW could check WiFi state, then turn on BT, then if WiFi was meant to be off, turn it off.

They simply haven't fixed it.

The parent Rakuten has badly broken Viber.

SW quality is falling.

If you have NickelMenu installed, there are some items that might help. One turns on Bluetooth which also enabled WiFi and then promptly disables WiFi for example.

And yes, if WiFi & Bluetooth are off, the chip hardware enables both at the same time. You can then choose to disable either separately.
