Kobo rebooting during large import

Hi. I've recently sideloaded a large number of books to my ereader. My understanding is that before they will be visible in the stock interface they need to be imported. I have done the import a number of times, typically what happens is it gets part way through, pauses at a particular percentage for a few minutes, then the device reboots.

I'm assuming this is because of a dodgy file that the import is having issues with. Without doing repeated partial sideload / import workflows is there a way I can somehow identify which file is causing the problem?

I've had this issue with a Libra 2. I don't think the issue is a specific book. When I do partial library sideloads, everything loads properly. I think maybe there's a GB limit on how much you can load at once?

Same here, there is a bandwidth limit of sorts. I get the same issues sometimes when loading books via calibre wireless in Koreader and also generating cache within KoReader.

Hi.
And I have the same problem, Libra 2. I noticed that up to 1000 books (around 800–900) import normally, but if there are more, it says the reader is out of battery and reboots. Possibly it’s related to writing to the database or to RAM.

When I copied 16,000 books to my Clara HD, I turned off sleep and power off and used a wall wart to supply power while the import was in progress. It took a while but completed without issue. These are all books that have been checked and edited before moving to my main calibre library.
