Kobo / Overdrive issue and resolution

For the last few weeks I've been having issues with my KLC accessing OvrDrive / Libby. Symptoms included when using the Discovery option I was receiving Network Access error messages, and when new loans were available they were not being fulfilled. I was seeing no messages during the Sync that library access was being tried.

Settings / Accounts / Overdrive said yes I was logged in.

I tried contacting Kobo help and got into a chat with a Chat it. It's useless advice was to try the Repair Account option to no avail.

I then reached out to Kobo devs via the Beta forum and supplied them with a log file.

The solution was just Logout from Overdrive and log back in.

After that all worked again.

The long and short is if you're experiencing issues with your Overdrive integration, try a logout from your library and log back in.

Yeah I had this problem also and I tried everything to fix it. I finally had to log out and relog in to overdrive and have now lost my multiple library card syncing because that feature has been removed. I knew about this and was trying everything to avoid logging out but I guess one library is better than none.Like why are they deprecating the features of my device? I emailed overdrive to complain and they just said sorry maybe kobo can come up with a fix in the future. This wasn’t a kobo change it was overdrive and they just throw up their hands, I’m so annoyed.

I've been away for a few months (or more). Did OD mention why they took away multiple library support? I have to admit that I make copious use of that feature.

I recently purchased the Kobo for the 2 library support. Kobo tells me that it can't be done, despite numerous youtube views giving instructions on how to accomplish. Who took that feature away, and why?

Kobo does have Overdrive support. Go to the Home screen > More > Settings > OverDrive.

They're talking about multiple library support, clearly. Three posts in a row talking about it specifically.
