You could look into replacing the battery. The size if I remember correctly is gn344658 (3.4mm thick by 46mm wide by 58mm long). One acquaintance of mine purchased a replacement battery for their Mini from AliExpress (searched on kobo mini battery 1000mah). I don't have the link to the one they purchased but looked very much like the one at https://www.aliexpress.com/p/tesla-l...05002993072481 for $6.99 Cdn.

I have seen reports of people using a 404050 battery which is slightly thicker at 4.0mm but narrower and shorter at 40mm x 50mm. One example from Amazon.com can be found at https://www.amazon.com/AKZYTUE-1200m.../dp/B07TVDMTPF for $10.09 US. Though since I geolocate to Canada, that price may be very inaccurate.

As usual, double check the shipping charges. We'll sell you the battery for $10 but charge $22 for shipping.

While I was looking at the specs of the battery I removed and reconnected the battery cable a couple of times and got the device working perfectly. Thanks a lot for your help!

My Kobo Glo is completely bricked. I am looking for an image.img file to start over with a new virgin SD card. I work with Linux (and/or Windows 11).
My e-reader is from 2015.
I believe it is a Kobo Glo (N708) model.

The Kobo 2015 releases would be the Kobo N437 Glo HD and the Kobo N587 Touch 2.0. The closest to N708 for a model number would be the Kobo N705 Mini with a 5" diagonal screen.

If you check the edge of your Kobo where the USB port is, you should, with luck, be able to see the model number.

It's interesting which kind of Libra 2 image version is working correct, connected to the right Rev as I struggle with it.

I have Rev A in my Libra 2 number so how many Revs do a Kobo Libra 2 really have? :-)

Hello, thank you for your quick response.
I had never noticed this inscription on the edge of my Kobo. It must have been hidden by the connection wires to a USB-C plug stuck on the back, because the original micro-USB connector died a long time ago.
My Kobo is a KOBO glo HD N437 with a 4GB SD card.
