DeDRM 10.0.14 is only needed for Kindle for PC 2.8.0. And if you've got an E-ink Kindle that hasn't received 5.18.5 firmware (10th gen and older), then you don't need to mess with that at the moment. Nothing is working for Kindles on 5.18.5 and up yet.

noDRM deliberately kept 10.0.9 listed as "pre-release" to hopefully extend its useful period. It's been that way for a couple years now. Even the latest alpha release from noDRM is almost a year old now.

Even the alpha release works well. 10.0.3 is too old. You need at least 10.0.9. I run the alpha version. The alpha version is the one with the current code.

Yes, what I was saying was that even the current noDRM alpha release at almost a year old could basically be considered "stable". New development has moved on to Sats' fork.

I like to make sure I have the latest and best version of the DeDRM plugin. I feel bad bothering people by coming her to ask about it. I'd like to learn to track it on my own.

I have multiple GitHub pages bookmarked, including ones from noDRM and Satsuoni, but I'm not sure which is the best to use to stay up-to-date:

Someone recently pointed me to a page for noDRM's alpha version. If I understand correctly, this page is automatically updated, which means it should always have the latest version? Is that right? If so, should this be my go-to?

Satsuoni's tool is needed for the specific case of using the latest Kindle for PC. Otherwise, all you need is the noDRM's alpha version.
