I didn't brick mine, but I can't backup the SD card (read error with "dd" or Win32 Disk Imager).

Help Wanted!
I'm new here and I think I bricked my Kobo Glo, suddenly the 4GB internal memory had three partitions and two of them NOT formatted. So I think I need the image for the internal memoy (4Gb). I have no idea what happened, so I hope with a new image the ereader will be fine again. Thanks for your help.

PM sent. But, that is sort of normal.

The internal SD card has three partitions. Only one should be visible when the device is connect to a computer. If you have taken the card out and put it in a Windows machine, then it will complain about this and prompt to format the card. If the partitions are appearing when you connect the device, I don't know what is happening.

I have a Kobo Mini and need the original software image for the sd card. Can somebody provide me the image? What is the partition I need to create on the SD card? Or can I only extract the image on an emty SD Card?

Seem to have bricked my Clara and Nia by not backing up the image correctly into separate partitions. Is there a original Clara and Nia image available and procedure to write the required partitions for boot?
