One tip I have for koreader. If you change the status bar to NOT display current page in book and page remaining in book, it will speed up certain things like changing font size because koreader doesn't have to repaginate the whole book. At least that's what I think is happening

@Barty: I'm pretty sure that's irrelevant, nothing in the status bar has any bearing on what the engine needs to do . |

Sorry if this has been discussed, but I now have KOReader and Plato installed, if any of the two (or KFM) gets an update, how do i update it on the device? Can I just download a zip file for a specific app (i.e. not the KORreader+Plato one) and use the script to install the new version? Wysłane przez Tapatalka |

When I go to copy the setting from my existing KOReader settings, what files do I need to copy?

I've renamed a folder with my ebooks from "books" to ".books" in KOReader so that Nickel doesn't see them. Something had to go wrong during installation though, as Nickel still sees all the books I uploaded in "My Books" section + 3 png files with app icons. I downloaded the script to the same folder as .zip and run it from there. I looked into the KOReader install guide, and it specifies a script that's supposed to disable scanning hidden folders - should I add it to the Kobo config file manually? Code: [FeatureSettings] ExcludeSyncFolders=(\\.(?!kobo|adobe).+|([^.][^/]*/)+\\..+) Last edited by Buhaj; 12-07-2021 at 11:23 AM. |

Any ideas? [Update]After some some tweaking and apparently kobo deleted half of koreader(it crashed because it couldn't find some files) it started to work as it should. Still no idea why or how[/Update] Thanks BR Last edited by sobkas; 12-10-2021 at 10:31 PM. | |

The script was already on the device, I had to remove books in Nickel even though they were already moved to a hidden folder in the memory. Now they are only available in KOReader. There are 3 icons in My Books now: KFMon, KOReader and Plato png files which are shortcuts. Can they be safely removed given that both apps can be accessed via NickelMenu? |

I set up Dropbox on KOReader, having used this installer a while back, but for some reason the cloud storage entry has disappeared from the menu at some point, possibly after a firmware update/reinstalling. I can't see it as a plugin to enable/disable either. Not sure what to do now, or if there's another place better to ask? Thank you. |

It's currently only in the file browser, tools → cloud storage, in case that might be causing any confusion?

Anybody using a nightly build for Kobo Libra 2? The official releases still keep crashing whenever you jump using ToC or footnotes.

Never say never, but something in ToC or footnotes is unlikely to be limited to a specific device. Would you mind sharing the crash.log?
