Make Annotations display box full screen?

Looking at your screen shot, that is part of calbre's metadata editor and nothing to do with the Annotations plugin.

As @DNSB, that is the metadata editor and not under the control of this plugin. But, there is a tweak to only use a single column for custom columns in the metadata editor. Set "metadata_single_use_2_cols_for_custom_fields" to "False" will let this fill the full width of the dialog.

Yes, my point is that I want a full-screen ("large-screen") viewing of my annotations. Currently, if I mouse-hover some text in the Annotations column, I do see my Annotations.
But after several seconds, it times out, and the pop-up Annotations disappears. Anyway we can change the time-out period?

Can we assume that you applied the tweak so you do get the larger box for your annotations but you want a full screen version? The current box holds a fair amount of text with the vertical scroll bar.

If so, the next step is for you to create an enhancement request for calibre. Check the fourth paragraph of Reporting bugs.

If you want to continue this discussion, it should be moved elsewhere since it has noting to do with the Annotations plugin.

I would suggest messages #737 to to #741. The issue is how large the Annotations display box on the Custom metadata page of the Edit metadata individually tool is and has nothing to do with the Annotations plugin. Possibly Increasing the size of the Annotations display box? Can the Annotations display box be made full screen?
