Yay! Just a question, is it / would it be possible to manually determine which / how many clips go in each bar? I ask because currently I have a full top bar with almost half the clips hidden (unless I click the "more" arrow), it would be useful to move the overflow to the second bar, but I can't see a way to do this (am I missing something obvious?).

The first clips bar has to be all used before the second will begin to be used. This was not meant to foster organization but to extend the the sheer number of clips and either/both can be hidden.

You can move the primary clips bar to its own line so that you can see it all.

I checked, it has been ("Points de repère" https://www.transifex.com/zdpo/sigil...xt%3Alandmarks), I thought also of that so I was going to translate it myself. But maybe it was translated after this version came out, if it's working in Polish. I don't know how to see the date of the translation.

Hmmm…
Change language in metadata (opf file) to French and try again.
This option works depending on the language of the ebook, not the language of the Sigil interface.

Yes, book language in metadata is french, sigil interface language is english. The option is partially working because the Table of Contents is correctly translated as <h1>Table des matières</h1>. But Landmarks (title and content) is not translated :

Edit : I see it is working for you, now I am more confused.

It already has its own line

But the Sigil main window is not wide enough because I need room for preview and other things (notepad, sometimes the pdf from the print version as a reference...). It's not a big problem, I was just wondering if there was a way that I didn't find. No worries if this was not the intended way of functioning.

I could tweak it next release to hold 15 in a bar instead of 20 if all 40 are rarely used by anyone.

Indeed, there is a problem here that I did not notice during testing.
For this to work correctly, try first disable the "Table des matières" semantics for the nav.xhtml file, and then enable it again.
I think this workaround should help.

Don't change it just for me, presumably this was added because there are other people with a lot of clips and they wanted more accessible in the clips bar(s) (and have wider windows / screens), no need to reduce the number if it suits others.

Maybe I will pad the clips bar and put less-used clips in the second half to bump the more important ones to the second bar.

Yes, each area of the nav is processed separately. Areas of the nav not involved in a particular operation will/should remain untouched. So an operation that modifies the Landmarks (such as add semantics) would be needed to see any changes in Landmarks in the nav.
