Sigil 0.9.18: no plugin working anymore

Hi

On Archlinux, Sigil 0.9.18, Qt 5.13.2. from 3.11.2019

No plugin works anymore, including the testplugin, so I am unable to send any useful information.

Only message: (in French) Le démarrage du greffon a échoué.

Have you made sure you have installed the python3 properly (and all of its libraries and with the python packages needed)?

That error message means you tried to run python but it failed for some reason. If you open a xterm app and type python3, is it found in your path? Have you selected it in your manage plugins?

I checked the path for python, it targeted 3.7.
I clicked on "automatic" in the general preferences, and have now again a good path.

I actually remembered to test Sigil with Python 3.8 on Arch before it was released. There's a few new features that might get incorporated into future Sigil builds. Namely PYTHONCACHEPREFIX and os.add_dll_directory.
