Ok, thanks for the link - I'll test this build regarding battery consumption in sleep mode over the next week. At a first glance, there are no functionally visible changes, everything works like in the 2018-06-09 build on a PW3 and KT3.

Yes there are no difference with functionality, but improvement with buttery consumption when reading.

Now, after one week, I can confirm that the standby battery drain on my PW3 running the beta build 2018-12-19 seems a liitle bit lower than with the current official build 2018-12-10. But it is obviously still a bit higher than in the previous official build 2018-06-09.

"Standby" means here: Running Coolreader, launched via your launcher (not via KUAL!), using your Kindlet (azw2 active document), and displaying a user defined sleep picture. The device was switched on only for a few seconds each second day, just to check the battery percentage display in the status line. Power drain is still about 1% per day - it was less than 2% in 3 days with June 2018 release though.

@sergeyvl12: Once again a packaging error in your 2019-02-05 release:

Although launcher.sh references to "KindleTSv2" mouse driver for the KPW3 and KPW4 models, the file itself is missing in "Qt/plugins/mousedrivers/". Either it isn't needed any longer, then launcher.sh is wrong - or the respective (current) file is missing in the archive.

Though I couldn't test this version on a physical PW4, it does *not* work properly on my PW3: No personal sleep pictures. Release 2018-06-09 works correctly with this device.

On a *KT3* the new release works fine. But the same was already true for the 2018-06-09 version...

Now for KPW3 kindle system screensaver is used. You can use my screensaver and custom images.

The only piece of information missing was to mention the file name affected: /mnt/us/vlasovsoft/launcher.sh ... ;-)

Now, everything works. Hopefully, the standby battery drain doesn't increase - I'll have a look at his in the next time.
