@GeoffR: Yup, that works for me, too . At a (very) quick glance, nothing else looks to have suffered from it \o/. For people also using your adjustable top/bottom margin patch, don't forget to modify the default margin value to match the one you use in the MediumVertSpacer patch . I'm using 0 in both cases, and am generally running with the margins slider set to 1, meaning 11px margins on the four sides on the H2O . EDIT: Ah, just noticed one thing: while the top/bottom margins honor the slider in ePub, they do NOT in the kePub reader... (Unless I'm mistaken, they used to with the old fullScreenReading mode). EDIT²: I *am* using the 'Custom kepub default margins' patch, if that helps... EDIT³: While a NTH feature, I can definitely live without it. As I said, I usually stay with 11px margins, so I can just patch 'em to 11px instead of 0. Last edited by NiLuJe; 12-20-2018 at 12:10 PM. |

@GeoffR: Works well for me too. I had a look at all the menus and things, and nowhere else seems to use it. I also had a quick look in the disassembly to confirm. You can put it in the GitHub repo (or I can) when you think it's ready, then I'll do a release. |

I have installed not to much patches: epub fixed top/bottom margin, custom left & right margins and 24 line spacing values. I do not know if there is one that can interfere with this patch Last edited by JIPG-reader; 12-21-2018 at 02:16 PM.

Reduce top/bottom page spacer: (nickel.yaml) Does this patch replace epub fixed top/botton marging patch? Edit: This patch is only for "full screen mode" (without footer and header), isnt it?, so it should not have any effect on epub margins when not in full screen mode. I am a little bit lost with how the margins works, sorry Last edited by JIPG-reader; 12-21-2018 at 12:29 PM. |

I use the adjustable margin patch, which still works great, but as I understand it, the old fixed margins patch works for margins and styles below this new padding. In other words, I think that you'd need to keep the old patch at zero to override any epub/kepub styling, and also apply the new patch to have even smaller top and bottom margins.

Yup, see me earlier comment: Quote:
This only makes sense if you actually *always* read without any footer NOR header (àla old fullScreenReading). If you use the 'Reduce top/bottom page spacer' patch but you still keep ONE of the footer OR header shown, you'll *probably* don't want to tweak the 'adjustable top/bottom margin patch', unless you get how it's going to affect the effect of your margin slider. The comments around the configurable values in the 'adjustable top/bottom margin patch' should help you understand how those two patches can interact with each other . EDIT: And as mentioned in the full message I quoted, top/bottom margins are now *fixed* in the kePub reader, so all this interaction talk is fairly moot if you never even read plain ePubs . On my Aura One patch "Enable rotation on all devices" not work. The screen rotates into landscape mode and does not return to portrait mode.
