If any of the text or graphics are in color, they come out in color when you take a screen grab. But on the screen, they display in greyscale.

My Kobo Glo feel slower compere to previous FW, like exiting a book to the home screen take more than 10sec, also opening the book bottom menus take more time than usual.

Yes, they fix the double screen refresh, but now if you turn a page, you get a screen refresh if you use annotations menu on that page.
So let say I use the dictionary on every page I get screen refresh on every turn page.
I don't like it, but it better than double screen refresh, I guess it because of the ghosting in the dictionary.

I have an Aura HD and an Aura One. Neither shows the Charging: 94%. It just shows the line that says Sleeping.

What does happen is that if you plug it in to power the line that says Sleeping rolls up a bit which would make room for the Charging line. The Charging line is not shown.

This behavior is the same on both readers and continues even after I power them off and turn them back on.

I installed the new firmware this morning, and collections do indeed open much quicker than they used to (I have 45 pages of collections). Unfortunately, now many other functions of my H2O are painfully sluggish. I have tried rebooting several times but it does not fix the problem.

I have noticed that it takes a minute or longer to enter sleep mode, sub menus take minutes to open, trying to go to the home page takes minutes, typing into the search bar takes minutes for the typed text to appear.

I have not had any luck with updates after 3.19.5761. I suspect it might be because of the large library I have stored on the external sdcard. Anyways, back to 3.19.5761 for me.

Does anyone know if the speed of the sdcard could cause sluggishness like this? I am using a Class 2 8GB Sandisk.

A class 2 memory card isn't even fast enough for HD video. So yes, I do think the memory card is too slow.

I installed the update on my H2O today and I'm satisfied so far. As already mentioned here in this thread, the opening of the collections is decidedly quicker.

The interaction with Calibre has also worked perfectly so far.

I also like a few more settings, e. g. in the reading settings (see screenshot). I also like the paged out points in the status bar (2nd screenshot) because you can call them up directly without detouring via a menu.

Reading is done later, so I see how the scrolling works.

Guys I have a doubt, after turning my Kobo Touch on it used to show the "Importing books", and now after this new update(4.6.9960) it doesn't show after turning it on. It only shows after sending books from Calibre. Was it the "Reimporting kepubs" issues?

I'm facing the same decision...I'll probably try the update on my HD to see if I like the changes enough and if so install it on my One. May wait a little while for Geoff's patches. (Thanks Geoff--you're work on these is always very appreciated!)

Wonderful! Mobile has never really worked but in all fairness it doesn't work on a Kindle either. There is a work around though. You click on the link then at the download page change on the url dropbox to dl.dropboxusercontent and the file downloads. It's just easier to use the desktop version.

Do you have an external uSD card with kepubs on it? If so, you were seeing the re-import bug.
