I want to download my ebooks from my Amazon account and I was wondering if anyone has found a way to do it at once? Batch download? I've a LOT of bough books because of the freebies and classics and don't feel like taking three hours going through years and years of purchases and clicking one at a time. |

Alas, you will be an hour or two depending on the size of your library. |

Was worried about that. At least the ten at a time thing isn't so bad. A lot were classics or independent books that weren't so great anyways. I'll just be a bit picky.

Another possibility ts to install and use K4PC. Be aware that the latest version will download books in kfx format. You will need to install an earlier version to get kf8's.

https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=283371 I agree that sending your books to K4PC / K4Mac is by far the easiest way to download them, although the OP will still need to manually download his older books. |

Beware of putting a lot of new content onto your kindle all at once. It can take hours to index, which uses masses of battery power. Best to put a few at a time onto your kindle and wait till they've indexed.

While they're indexing, you'll probably have to keep your kindle plugged into a power source. To check that it's finished, go to your kindle's home page, do an "all text" search for nonsense, such as "fgfghj" if the result is nothing, the indexing is complete. If you get some results, it's incomplete. |
