Help with Title -> Title Sort Metadata Editing

I've got a huge project going to get all my eBooks of whatever format into a full-on Calibre-based library. One thing I'm hitting is I frequently have to manually edit the titles one at a time.When I update the Title, I want the Title sort: column to be updated automatically, just the way the Author -> Author Sort columns update in bulk edits.

Is there a setting/option/tweak anywhere in the preferences that will set this up? I'd like to save as much time as possible so I can get back to reading. Thanks.

The quality check plugin has a "Check author sort" option, which will find all the ones that are "wrong". You can then go through that list, unmark any that are actually ok for whatever reason, and then use the bulk metadata edit to fix them all in one go.

If you edit the Title in the book list (F2 on the book title cell) I think you'll find it applies the changes to Title Sort.

@Krazykiwi, @BetterRed Thank you both. Both of your suggestions have been invaluable and helped enormously with my library loading, both "in process" and after they've been moved to the appropriate library.
