Thanks - that sounds quite good. I've done variations on it myself. Never heard the term before. I was thinking it might be some form of mincemeat, which I most thoroughly hate.

We sometimes do ground beef in a cream gravy. Served over mashed potatoes or bread.
We had Asian for lunch.
Ham and turkey sandwich for dinner.

Tonight I made a good old British fry-up.

Bacon, sausage, black pudding, fried eggs, baked beans, chopped tomatoes, potato cakes, Staffordshire oatcakes, fried mushrooms.

Seriously, this is not health food! We eat this very rarely!
