The ".0.1" probably means a minor bug fix release. I haven't noticed anything different (including any performance changes) in my limited use of it so far.

Updated a couple of days ago; since then have noticed that every 7-10 pages, I only get a partial page displayed. Going on to the next page and then back displays the missing text.

I have been having this problem since 5.8.5.0.2. With each update, I keep hoping it will be fixed, but so far no luck

Nobody said and my Paperwhites are working fine but when I have a problem, any problem, I can't resolve I do a factory reset. For the last eight years that's always worked for me.

I have had the same problem for so long (though lately I do not remember experiencing it). I thought I was the only one because I didn't find anything on the web or forum and didn't know how to explain it to Amazon so they would understand. I was always worried to miss some text without realizing

I have only had that partial page thing a few times months ago. Yes, going back or forth and back again fixed it. I haven't seen it though since like the last update, or the one before. I can't recall now.
This latest update got here by itself on my Voyage and Oasis and so far I haven't noticed the weirdness again.
