Same for me, it didn't appear through synching, but I downloaded from the zip mentioned in the new thread. Seems to be working OK.

Kobo has traditionally rolled out their updates over time. Depending on your affiliate, you might wait a couple of weeks for the update.
BestBuyCA seems to get the updates first. |

Interesting! How does one change their "affiliate"? I also think it is funny that bestbuy gets them first. I bought mine from Kobo direct and that aren't first? That's surprising to me.

It's in the config file in the .kobo directory. Use a proper editor (i.e. Notepad++) to edit it.

Looks like I'm also one of those who will have to wait for the roll out of the update to spread more widely. Luckily, I haven't been experiencing many of the issues faced by others so another couple of weeks won't make much of a difference.
On another note, when the update does become available, will those of us who used the work around to turn off the auto-sync feature need to undo it when we sync to get the update, or can we just leave our devices as currently configured? |

You can leave your device as it currently is. Manually adding the option to the config file was something I suggested because the settings dialog didn't work properly. It was just adding what the settings screen was supposed do add but didn't.

It's in the affiliate.conf file in the .kobo folder. As usual, make sure you use an editor that is Unix EOL sensitive (usual plug for Notepad++ here).
