How do you MOSTLY hold your e-reader while reading on a table?

I prefer to hold it with a book stand. If the device is light enough like the Kindle Oasis, I may hold it with my hand. I don't feel comfortable reading with laying the device flat on the table. The angle of reading just seems awkward to me.

The 'flat' part is questionable I prop it on the Cat (who must lay in front of me, even if it is forbidden. An to add insult, takes a bath, Shaking my reader ) |

If I'm reading on my Kindle, I use the origami cover's built in stand. If I'm using my iPad, I use an easel.

If I'm reading at a table, it's because I am eating. I just prop it up against something that sits on a placemat (keeps it from sliding). If I'm cooking from say my HD+, I prop it in a cookbook stand. There's a plastic shield to prevent it from getting pancaked by flour. |

When I'm reading at the table (only happens when I'm eating alone, or sometimes in summer when we breakfast outside), I'll just prop it up against anything that's laying on the table. Outside, it's easier as we always have a nice smooth rock on the table to prevent the wind taking the tablecloth, and it's the perfect hight to put the reader against. Not sure it counts as a bookstand... It can range from that rock to a stack of tablets and phones... Or even a jar of peanutbutter ... |

I picked "Hold it with a book stand". I normally read lying down, the book stand lies in my lap. If I'm doing quick reading sitting, I just hold it by the edge. If I'm doing a long reading session while sitting, I'll use an elastic band across the back. |

I usually only read at a table when I am eating, so I use a small stand.

I usually do my reading laying down, keeping the book stand in my lap or on a side table. Holding the device in hand for long time causes pain in my hand.

When eating I just lay my HS+ flat on the table next to my plate and hope I remember to finish eating in a timely manner. All other times, I hold it in my hands. Apache |

I read in my recliner, laying back in a very comfortable position.

I prop it up using a cookbook holder on the kitchen island while eating at home, and a pile of calculators on the desk at work.

When reading at the table I normally hold my tablet in my hand(s) resting the bottom on the table. Sometimes I prop it up against my pencil holder or a pile of pbooks.
